QUALIFICATIONS:

Over forty years experience in the private and public sectors of the development and construction industries. Private sector background in residential and commercial construction, owner’s representation, forensic investigation and expert testimony, government relations, construction and regulatory approval. Public sector experience in large and mid sized multiple division Community Development / Building / Code Enforcement / Zoning / Licensing agencies. Strong communication, administrative, management and negotiation skills. Broad experience in the legislative and regulatory aspects of zoning, building codes, design and construction. Extensive computer and computer application experience.

Significant expertise in public administration, participatory management, media and public relations, applicable federal law, state statutes, building codes, interpretation and enforcement of local ordinances. Experienced with enforcement of land use, zoning and environmental planning requirements including comprehensive plans, growth and concurrency management statutes, zoning and land development codes.

Active participant in the public hearing processes including: Code Enforcement and Unsafe Structures Boards, Board of Adjustment, Planning and Zoning boards, and Architectural Review, Historical and Community Appearance Boards. Responsible for developing a market in southwest Florida for the engineering firm's construction quality control inspection, geotechnical and materials testing services.
